Our qualified engineers carry out a full survey before a system is designed. The most appropriate equipment is selected for individual requirements for any project.
All necessary calculations are carried out in-house, by use of a computerised system, which takes into consideration heat gains from lighting, equipment and occupancy, etc. Drawings are prepared on AutoCAD and can be submitted upon request for approval by local authorities and landlords.
Installations are carried out to the highest standards complying with appropriate industry guidelines, CDM (Construction Design Management), local authority and landlord’s requirements. We are approved installers of leading names in air conditioning and heating equipment for every application.
Once a project has been completed, our engineers will test and commission the system in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations. Operation of each system is demonstrated and handed over with all necessary warranty documentation, operating instructions and as fitted drawings.
Heat pump units allow you to cool and heat with the same unit. Air Control & Development Ltd will advise the most appropriate equipment to be selected, which will enable savings to be made for an installation through the use of a Government approved reduced 5% VAT scheme. All designs are carried out by HNC / HND qualified personnel guaranteeing all CIBSE guidelines are adhered to and any other building regulations, landlord, local authority or any other legal requirements are taken into account before a scheme is quoted.
Air Control & Development Ltd only use air conditioning equipment provided by leading manufacturers such as Toshiba, Carrier, Mitsubishi and is in Partnership with Daikin Air Conditioning. This ensures that we are able to offer the most up-to date equipment, using the latest technology and refrigerant gas available ensuring that any installation conforms to government guidelines. We offer between one and five years warranty on equipment and one year's labour warranty on all installations providing our customers the peace of mind they deserve.
As our continual success depends on referrals and recommendations we continually develop and train our staff ensuring that we are always at the forefront of our industry. This is combined with a training process for all Health & Safety aspects of the industry. Although singularly the most important part of one of our installations, price/quality does not reflect the investment within a company for Health & Safety. Air Control & Development Ltd is proud of its record of never having a single reportable accident.
Due to our commitment to our quality of work and Health & Safety, we are associate members of the National Association of Shopfitters (NAS) and the Heating & Ventilation Contractors Association (HVCA) and conform to stringent guidelines. The HVCA carries out visits to members' offices to ensure that they have all the correct procedures in place and can terminate membership of companies that do not comply with their standards.
